Growth Hacking

To make your blog successful, and earn money from it, you need to implement steps to grow your blog every day. Small steps matter, but growth hacking can give you a big boost forward.

You may or may not have heard of the latest buzz phrase going around the internet these days: it’s ‘growth hacking’. Growth hacking is simply a way to hack or cheat the system in order to bypass the normal growth pains of starting a blog.

Hackers have found a way to draw in thousands of people a day from almost the first day of their blog being published. There are many shortcuts online, as well as numerous other ways to game the whole blogging process. The trick, however, is to stay vigilant so you always use legal and ethical means.

Influencer marketing is one tool that helps bloggers communicate instantly with thousands of people right off the bat, rather than the normal rate of drawing in an audience over a period of months and even years.

Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing works because you use someone else to help you reach a larger audience. You bypass all the waiting around for people to visit your blog, in the hopes that someone else’s audience may be interested in what you have to say.

You can do this through the use of a solo ad and have someone promote you on their private mailing lists. This gives you the potential to reach thousands of followers in a relatively short period of time.

The only drawback is buyer beware, it may cost you more than you want to shell out.

So, what do you do? Guest blogging (publishing your own post) on someone else’s site is always an option, as is getting an influencer to retweet your Twitter messages. Both these options may take time to get someone to accept your terms, but both options are otherwise free.

Hacking Influencer Marketing

The hack called ‘influencer marketing’ can also be hacked itself. All it takes is knowledge of how to reach the big influencers faster than normal.

One simple trick is to combine the real world with the internet. If you meet a real world influencer in person, they may be more than happy to give you a shout-out on social media.

Better yet, take a picture of the two of you together and upload it to your social media accounts – be sure to tag names in your uploads. A picture speaks a thousand words.

Just be sure you do not make claims that are not true about your relationship with the influencer. Your readers will discover this soon enough, and it will be a severe blow to your credibility. Your reputation matters in the online world as well.

Get The Right Influencer

Always aim for the right influencer. Don’t head to the CEO of a company; you want to work with an influencer who is on par with your level, but just enough ahead of you that you can learn from them. In this way, you both will bring something to the table.
