Content Creation
What is “Flow?”
Content Creation Workflow is best described as a state of being totally wrapped up in the present, and oblivious to the world around you. It is a state of being that helps us be more productive and creative. In this state we are at our highest level of happiness.
While getting into the ‘flow’ is not that hard, many people struggle to get there. Many other people can enter that state with relative ease.
Those that can easily get into the flow of their work are often the artists in our society. The painters and the musicians, the scholars and the poets. They are the creative ones among us.
These people have learned how to live in the moment and become completely absorbed by what they are doing. Losing track of time while working without outside distractions has become second nature to some lucky people.
This is a state of mind and a skill you too can learn.
Why Get in the Flow?
Athletes are also able to easily find that flow they need to succeed. Complete focus is needed in any sport, and finding that flow is what will bring each player a heart filled with pride, a mind at peace, and great satisfaction in whatever job is set before them.
Finding this inner peace and well-being gives you a tremendous feeling of happiness. The most powerful thing about the ‘flow’ is that anyone can get into this state of being anytime they wish. You don’t have to be an artist or an athlete to participate.
How to Get Into the Flow
Artists, athletes and other such high performers are able to easily enter their ‘flow’ because they have spent considerable time practicing a pre-flow routine. They are so experienced with entering this state of being that they simply need a ‘trigger’ to get them there.
Content Creation Workflow Routine
1. Focus 100% on the task on hand.
2. Meditation is a great way to improve your ability to focus. While in this state, build up how important your current job really is.
3. A quick reset in your mind can turn any activity into something enjoyable. Combine this with your improved focus and you are one step closer to reaching the ‘flow’ state.
This concentrated focus can be achieved through practice of the above routines. The more you practice, the easier it gets to find that ‘flow’ you want.
Remember, you need to determine why this activity is so important. Reach deep and feel the need and urgency to get the job done.
Breathe deeply as you tap into the energy, power and enthusiasm within your self.
Stay in the moment! Ignore those outside distractions as you concentrate on the job you are doing.
Feel the ‘flow’ and start working.
The rewards are well worth the effort it takes to get good at this activity, and like in anything else in life, you have to be persistent in your efforts to master this technique.
Do your best to get into the Content Creation Workflow every time you need a new post for your blog. You’ll get better the longer you work at it.
Be persistent…
