I Need to Make Money Fast – Part 2 – In Part 1 of this article, I mentioned that in todays economy anyone can suddenly discover that they need to find a new way to generate cash fast.
If this happens to you, know that it’s not your fault, and that there are ways to generate the money you need. This two part article shows you how. If you haven’t read the first part yet, you can GO HERE to check it out now.
Section 2: Rapid Profits for Stagnant Sales
Oftentimes, when we least expect it, we find out how our human nature interferes.
For example, say you have been running a well established business and you are well known for this fact. You are proud of your accomplishments and enjoy the admiration of your peers.
But then, when your pride and joy begins to faulter online, you may feel a bit of a stigma or shame whenever sales dry up and you are in a situation where you need a quick influx of money.
But this is nothing to be ashamed about. It’s not your fault that the economy has performed poorly and that many of your existing customers are struggling to purchase your products or services.
Work Fast to Develop a New Low Ticket Item
As someone who has been in this business for any amount of time, you may have been selling courses or products at a higher price point. Whenever you need a fast injection of money, you can develop some low ticket items instead.
Keep in mind that if you are struggling with sales, it often means others are, too. Not only will your colleagues be struggling, but your customers as well. Both of these groups will be appreciative of having a new, no brainer product to promote or buy based on an attractive price point.
In fact, if you have an existing course where you are teaching something comprehensive, and you need quick money, you can extract one particular lesson, expand on it a little bit, and sell it as its own course.
Let’s go back to the printables example. This is a popular business model because many consumers know what Etsy is, and many marketers are eager to learn how to sell them.
If you have an A-Z course that teaches everything about launching a printables business, you can extract one of those lessons, add a bit to it, and launch it as its own mini course.
An example of this might be if you have a lesson on creating templates that you can work with again and again. Your entire course can be just about the templates process. This might be perfect for someone who already knows how to sell on Etsy and doesn’t need all of the additional course information, but they would love to know your secret to template creation.
Have a Bundle Product Sale Using Big Value for a Low Cost
Regardless of what kind of products you have been selling today, package a bunch of them up and have one or more bundle sales. This works well whether you are selling courses, private label rights, or even software tools.
Bundle deals are great because they allow you to give a lot of value at a lower price point, but still enough to make it worthwhile. This is perfect for not having to do additional work in order to make money quickly.
For example, if you have released 10 eBooks in the past, you can package up three of them for one of your bundles. Or, package all 10 up if you want to. The only time you don’t want to do this is if you just recently launched something at full price, and then turn around and quickly put it on sale for everyone else.
Bundle Up Packages of Similar Topics
If you sell private label rights, then you can take packages of similar topics and bundle those up for a quick burst of money. If you have a store that has a variety of niche topics, take all or several packs that have to do with marketing or health and bundle those up for a discount.
This is work that has already been done, so the most you’ll have to do is create a new sales page and zip up the files all in one. You might be able to put a package of 10 PLR packages that equal 350 pages total, where you are selling it for 90% off at just $35.
Buyers will love to get the extreme value discount, and affiliates will love to jump on board because they know their target audience is going to love it, too.
You can even create a new, free front end package of 5-10 articles and then use your bundle deals as the upsells.
Find a Marketer to Do a Private Launch For
In the previous part, we talked about how newbies can find another marketer to partner with for a brand-new launch where they do all of the work and the other marketer simply brings their reputation, brand name, and list to the equation.
This is a very important part of having a successful launch, so it’s not as if the other person isn’t playing a role in whether or not you make money. But as an existing, seasoned marketer, you will already have some experience in creating products for yourself.
You can find marketers who will jump at the chance to be the only person or the first person able to promote your product. In some cases, you might want to approach the top affiliate prospect and offer them a 48 hour advance promotion before it goes live to everyone else.
This is an acceptable arrangement as long as other affiliates know ahead of time that you have a special deal worked out so that one affiliate is going to get first promo dibs.
Or, if you know of an affiliate that can bring in a big chunk of money, such as $10,000 or more, you can make a private arrangement for them to be the only person to promote.
Not only will this help you with an immediate influx of money, but it also helps build your list because those buyers will then be subscribers as long as they accept the confirmation email that is sent out to them.
How to Make This Option Work
In order for this to work well, you will want to look at the person you are considering making this arrangement with, and create a product launch quickly that is tailored to their list.
Study what they create for their own products and what they promote so that you can come up with something you know their list will love. Pay attention to all the details, such as price points and sales copy so that you can mimic exactly what appeals to them as an affiliate.
You can do this with courses that teach strategies in any niche, whether it’s marketing, weight loss, or something else. Or you can do it with private label rights content. All you have to do is identify the best person to bring in the most money, and create something that you feel will be a great fit for their list.
Go ahead and create the content or course and then approach them with the private or advanced deal. This way so they can see the content or course immediately. If you simply ask ahead of time, they may turn it down, but if you give them the course and they are impressed with it, and everything is ready to go live, they’ll be more likely to say yes.
Sell PLR to a Course or Content You’ve Created
For many of the existing marketers, you may have been creating info product courses for quite a while. Even if you only have a single course ready, you can turn that into private label rights and sell those to buyers.
In fact, some of the people who bought the original course may want to purchase the private label rights if they are impressed with the quality of the content.
You can set something up so that they pay a little bit more to get those rights, since they have already purchased the product for personal use only.
This is something you can do with both eBook courses as well as video courses. With a text-based course, you will simply be giving them files that are editable. You may want to go through and extract anything that has personalization in it, such as your own storyline.
Also, you may want to add a couple of elements such as a sales letter that they can use to hit the ground running with their own sales. You might write one from scratch, or you might allow them to have your sales letter because it’s proven to convert.
If you have a video course, you can sell them the video files, but you can also create text-based transcripts of those and turn it into an eBook. You also want to consider including the sales letter for that as well.
You can even do this with some tools. When you allow people to resell something like a plug in, you can also sell the private label rights to that. But make sure your license clearly states that you will not provide support to their customers. This would apply if they change anything or if you simply don’t want that responsibility.
Offer DFY Expertise at an Affordable Rate
And lastly, if you are a seasoned marketer and have your name out there as someone who your colleagues in the industry know, you might want to offer a done for you service to your customers as well as those of your affiliates.
An example of this would be something you would normally see in an upsell. Going back to our examples of printables or private label rights sales, you might offer a service where you set up someone’s store for them.
This is a technical task that is often overwhelming to many newbies. So even if they purchase a course on how to sell printables or private label rights, they may struggle with the aspect of getting everything going from the beginning.
Or, if you sell private label rights, you might simply have an option that you announce to upload the content onto their blog for them and schedule it on their social media platforms.
You can even offer a service where you repurpose or rewrite the content that you have sold to them. These are things that are time consuming tasks that they may want to unload onto someone else, but they feel more comfortable with the person that originally taught them how to do the job.
Remember, there are many people struggling to make ends meet at this time. You don’t have to sit on the sidelines waiting for the economy to recover. There are plenty of opportunities to leverage your skills, assets, and abilities to make quite a bit of money in a short amount of time.
